@Louise Yeah, Will should sit with us next time we have a get together! Yeah, I heard yogurt, milk or chocolate are all good before a spicy meal because it "coats" your stomach.

@Liz I was in high heaven b/c everyone at the table was talking food, food and more food!

@SinoSoul THANKS so much for letting me know! That's awesome!

I went to a Jitlada dinner with Sinosoul back in the spring, and while the food was fiery hot and I would be careful to whom I rec this fierce food, it was delicious. Thanks for the more recent write up and great pics! Food blogger dinners are a blast because you get to talk food & restaurant talk all night long without tempering your personal obsession to relieve anyone else's boredom.

It was great meeting you! Too bad about all the beef dishes though. I should have had Will sit with you guys since that end of the table was more veggie-friendly, haha.

The yellow curry with clams WAS good. I didn't even realized there were clams in it. My favorite were probably the 2 stinky dishes: bamboo and the stinky bean.

I didn't know that downing yogurt beforehand can help with spicy-food after-effects. I usually have some yogurt after if I go to places like Chung King. I'll have to try it before now.
